The gigs are kept in a field at Windsports, Mylor Harbour, where
we also have an oar box (not just for the oars). It's a short hop
downhill to the beach and launching.
Mylor Harbour has limited parking (and no public transport). Many club
members are happy to help organise lifts for others without transport, but
please don't abuse their goodwill. At the very least thank them profusely,
and every so often buy them a coffee at Cafe Mylor.
Parking is sometime possible up near the Church, but note that
most of the road has double yellow lines, which are enforced from
time to time. In the winter months the parking restrictions are relaxed.
Or you could pay. Admiralty Quay and further up the valley are the cheaper areas.
There are a couple of bays on the quay, but they are intended for short stay, and
we'd hate to fall out with our neighbours.
We also meet regularly at the Lemon Arms in Mylor Bridge
for Quiz Night.
Since our home is Flushing, you'll also see us there.
We regularly take part in the Saturday morning market,
held in the Church Hall, and we hold events (like the AGM)
in the Village Hall.
