We are a very friendly and happy club, democratically run, with the simple ambition of making rowing a pleasure for all those that come along. Whether you want to be part of a racing crew or just have a fun row (just out on the water or to a nearby place of refreshment!), whatever your age or ability, Nankersey Rowing Club wants to make your experience with us one that you wish to repeat again and again. For those who do not want to go on the water, you are welcome to become a Supporter and join in all our social on land activities.
If you are not yet a member but would like to come for a row, please call John on 01872 272372 or email us. Prospective members can join the group Nankersey Newbies on Facebook. We'd love to meet you! Mix and match and novice sessions are held weekly. We have two wooden pilot gigs, Circe and Serafina, and our plastic Cygnet training gig, based at Watersports in Mylor, from where we row out across the beautiful Carrick Roads to St Mawes, St Just, and other picturesque locations. Click here to see our location at Watersports, Mylor. Sunday morning is open to everyone – 10 to 12 – do make earlier contact so we can ensure you are properly prepared and able to participate.
