Sunday morning is club rowing for members and any one interested, from 10am to noon. Come along for a taster row, and/or just phone the contact numbers alongside and arrange weekend rowing too.
There are also coxing training sessions, “mix and match” rows, regular Wednesday rows – please look out for them on the calendar.
We have regular training rows on Saturdays and Sundays between 8 and 12, sometimes later, and Club Rowing for both training on Sundays from 10am and “mix and match” (for those not wanting to train hard but just enjoy being on the water).
The Pilot Gig World Championships take place on the Isles of Scilly in early May (around the Bank holiday). Nankersey always takes at least one gig and competes in several of the classes, with mixed success (in 2017 we came back with a trophy!). Everyone who goes has a great time and comes back buzzing. It's a unique opportunity to take part in a World Championships. Find out more here.
Quiz night 3rd Monday every month, at the Lemon Arms in Mylor Bridge.
Open to everyone – good food, good company, good quizzing! Eat at 7pm (booking advised), Quiz at 8 pm, £1 per person.
Our Annual General Meeting is held in November. This year it is on Thursday 9th November at Flushing Village Hall. We hope all members will come – refreshments provided.
